Area Conditions: Here’s the summer conditions after the recent storms dumped as much as six inches of rain here a couple of weeks ago. I found the ditches and the refuge had levels of water normally found in the spring. But I was surprised to find most of the zones and areas that I could view, to be in good shape with only a few spots holding any water and a couple spots were the cover crops looked to have issues other than these the rest of the crops including the corn seems to have weathered the storms well.
