Nayanquing Point Report 09-07-18

Area Condition Update: The 2018 waterfowl season is a month away and the area is being prepared. The corn and other crops are all looking excellent, much better than last year. For those who may haven’t been around the Great Lakes this summer, water conditions are as high as I have seem it in my 68 years.

Nov 17th 2017 – Managers Update  Current Bird Numbers: The DNR area bird count as of last week was 0000 ducks. 2017 Hunter Bird Take Stands at: 3,582 Ducks and 103 Geese Area Condition Update: Waterfowl numbers rebounded slightly from the previously iced over conditions. Mallard and black duck make of the majority of birds.
